You Really Shouldn't Be Using Internet Explorer

I am currently at my aunt and uncle's home, my cousin Kieth is getting married this afternoon, maybe I will take pictures. So anyways, I was going through my routine internet updates and such, and they only have Internet Explorer, like most people. Now, I knew that my blog looked different in IE, but wow. It looks like crap. (Not that it's perfect in FF) So, please, save your souls by SWITCHING.

its the saddest fuckin' thing. i recently purchased matthew good's avalanche (his first solo record -- i have a burned copy, but i owe him the money cuz he's my hero) and it came with this card the with mountain having an avalanche logo on it, a number beneath it with this text:

matthewgood avalanche
cd > computer + number = connect

which means to say, slip the cd in the comp, and it'll prompt you for the number and WOW! something magic happens (a matt good secret site, or some shit, which may be dead being that this album is from 2003). so it says it needs internet explorer or netscape to work. i think, cool, i have IE. i put the cd in and it tells me IE needs to be my default browser. i've been trying for the last ten minutes to hook that shit up, but to no fucking avail.

i was thinkin' perhap i should d/l netscape cuz it'll then ask me if i want it to be the default browser and my problem will be solved... but then i'd have the same problem arranging FF to be my default browser again.

i might have to pull out the ole' operatin' system nine point two if i am that desperate to see this shit.

moral of the story: internet explorer sucks and so do the peeps at universal music therefore: boycott, boycott i say!

So, why didnt you uninstall FF, making IE default?

Or would that not work?

Internet Explorer does indeed suck. Why doesn't everybody just switch?

well, being that os 9 is already installed and ie is the default browser over there, and that is a matter of one click, it would probably be easier to do it that way.

do you think there will ever come a time when internet explorer is not so popularly used as it currently is?

Hey, Chris! I'm not nearly computer savvy enough to understand any of this IE FF stuff, but your blog is pretty interesting. I assume you've heard about Bissman. If you want to talk about it, you know where to find me. www.xanga.com/shupe99

IE is horrible, my brother is an idiot. Last year I put FF on our main computer, because I was so used to using it. And he told my mom it was so unsecure and IE was safer against viruses. Right... cept everytime I go on IE I get 15 popups at a site that doesn't even have avertising on it. It's like sayin AIM is safer than Trillian. Plus FF has tabs, which is awesome. I've been using FF for years now, infact I believe I was using FF when you, chris, was still using IE.
